So much to do and so little time!

Since school has started back I have been so busy and have fallen behind on my blogging. Don't worry I am not baised, I have also fallen behind in my housework as well. I promised myself that I would catch up on both housework and blogging this weekend! I just don't understand how four people create such as mess. If you know the answer to that question I would love to know! Well, here is our August in fast foward....

I finally got Gracie to say her memory verse on camera for me. Every week her class has to memorize a verse, or rather a "big idea." I am so proud of her for saying it every week!

Johnny almost tipped his tractor pulling the shed down.

Huff and puff and blow the house down. Johnny and his dad destroyed the shed in our backyard. I'll have to take pictures of where it stood. I'm so glad it is finally down! Now we can start building the gazebo that we want. I knew the tractor would be good for something.

One night after supper we looked over and Ash was gone! I know Mindy has this same picture of Jada on her myspace. The sad thing is Jada's and Ash's bumbos are the same color. We love hand-me-downs, even if they are a bit girly!

I thought this was so funny. I just picked up the camera and started filming Gracie. She was having a tea party with all her animals at her table. She enjoys putting her "babies" to the table. She will use any form of sit that she can find to fit as many babies as possible. Well, she saw me filming her and decided I could not watch. She snatched up all her babies and stormed out. She went to the table in her room and played there. She is just so funny to watch!

Gotta Love the Thumb

Ash refuses a pacifer and has taken to his thumb. He is a full-fledged thumb sucker now. I am not sure how that is going to turn out when he is a toodler, but for now it is much easier than having to carry around a pacifer. It is also so cute to watch him jab the thumb in his mouth and suck away.

Happy Birthday Baby Allie

CONGRATULATIONS SHAY AND ERIC!!!!!
Allie made her appearance today at 10:12am. She weighed in at 8lbs 2oz and measured 19 3/4 inches. She is absolutely adorable. I was so happy that Shay asked me to be in the room when she delivered Allie. This was my first experience with "real" childbirth. I was so impressed with how Shay handled things, it seemed like an easy delivery. But, what do I know? I was just watching. Shay did get the epidural around 7:45 that morning. She was in some major pain before that point, but had an easy ride afterwards. I am just so happy for Shay and Eric. Allie has the most precious facial expressions already. She also has Shay's long toes and fingers.

Two Cuties!!!

We took Gracie and Aiden to have their pictures taken together for the first time. They turned out great! We brought Gracie's favorite book (Where the Wild Things Are)to have in one of the pictures. It was funny Gracie kept looking up at us and Ash was eating the book. Notice Ash's drool dripping off his mouth. The lady asked if we still wanted it with the blimish; we both looked at each other and said he wouldn't be Ash without the drool! Just to brag on myself a bit, I made both of their outfits; their first matching outfits!

Moving On Up!

Gracie is moving up in life. I am so proud of her. She started back school this week and has been moved up to the three year old class. Her school has a ton of new younger kids, so they had to move a couple of the two year olds to the three year old room before their birthdays. Since she is potty trained, she was the first to go!!! I am used to her being the last to go since has always been smaller than the others, but she is growing up and is making her moma proud. Her school had orientation Thursday night and they told us of all the neat things they will be doing this year. She will be memorizing scripture once a week, going on field trips, and being assessed on her skills once a month. I can't wait to see Gracie grow this year. She learned so much from her teachers last year, that I can't wait to see what she can learn this year. I am so proud of my big girl!!!
